Happy 2019 from Moroccan Children’s Trust!

As we’re now a month into the new year, we wanted to share some updates about Centre Amane.

We recently welcomed the lovely Louise from Penny Appeal to Taroudant! Penny Appeal has been funding Centre Amane’s incredible work for the past year. We had a great time showing Louise around and discussing possibilities for the future of MCT/FAPE and Penny Appeal. Hope to see you again soon Louise!

At the beginning of January, we welcomed our first volunteer of 2019, Robin! Robin comes to us from Vermont, USA and will be working with the children through English classes and recreational activities – including teaching them breakdancing skills! Robin will be with us for two months. Marhaba, Robin!

Continuing our fantastic partnership with Casablanca American School, one of their students organized a winter clothing drive and collected boxes of warm clothing, shoes, water and cleaning supplies. Thank you to the students of CAS for your continued support and special thanks to Noor for organizing it all.

The children at Centre Amane had a week-long holiday, which meant there was a lot of fun to

be had! The team organized a ton of different activities, including art projects, musical sessions with volunteer Robin, football games, and excursions out in Taroudant. Congratulations to the team on a busy but successful week!
