MCT’s Annual Fundraising Concert returns after last year’s spectacular success! On the 15th of November, the beautiful St. James’s Church in Paddington will play host to an evening of music; repertoire spanning from classical chamber music to close harmony and traditional Moroccan music.

Headlining this much anticipated event is David James, countertenor from the renowned vocal quartet, ‘The Hilliard Ensemble’. He will be performing a piece specially written from him, by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, as well as music by Gavin Bryars, an English composer and musician.

We are thrilled to announce that David will be joined by soloists Ben Bruant (guitar), Sam Hanson (organ), Rosie Taylor (clarinet) and Nicola Hands (oboe). The concert will also feature chamber performances by the Stella Quartet and a close harmony group made up of Cambridge Choral Alumni. The programme is completed by an acoustic Moroccan trio, led by Hassan of ‘Harir Band’, who will be performing traditional Moroccan music.

This is a truly unmissable event so please come join our evening of music in the glorious setting of St James’s Church.

Tickets £15 / £10 concessions. To order tickets please e-mail us at moroccanchildrenstrust@gmail.com or phone us on 020 8355 3411.
