This year you helped us to get 73 children like Laila* off the streets and back into school. Thank You.
Laila* is sixteen and had to drop out of school at the age of 10 to support her family. She has had a turbulent relationship with her mother in the past because of the mother’s involvement in the sex trade.Laila* has now returned to school and is extremely glad that she is off the streets as it is “not a place for girls”. Most girls her age who make a living from the street are left vulnerable and are often pulled into prostitution.
Moroccan Children’s Trust helps children and young people like Laila* to secure ID papers which are vital to accessing both education and health in Morocco and provide emotional and social support to the children and their families.
Next year we want to support even more children like Laila* get the education they deserve. The Moroccan Children’s Trust is funded 100% by voluntary donations and we can’t make this happen without your help.
