In this period, MCT is facing some big changes.
Just a couple weeks ago, we said goodbye and good luck to our Volunteer Project intern Livia. She has been an important resource for our team in London and we have very much appreciated her hard work on the Volunteer Project and hosting during GMH’s visit to London this July. Livia has returned home to Switzerland, and we wish her the very best!
The MCT UK team is also proud to say that the team is still growing – last week, we welcomed three new interns for the next six months. Nicola is the first intern to work on the Women’s Project with the Women’s Project Coordinator, and she will be doing research to help us better understand how we can improve this project using a participatory research approach. Nicola has been involved with other women’s groups in other parts of the world and is very interested in getting involved with MCT’s work in Morocco.
The other two interns – Camilla & Dorothea – are both involved in the Street Children Project with improving its projects and planning for future developments. For their first project, they helped the team publish its annual report for the UK Charity Commission – please check back soon to read a copy of our report online.
We hope that this will be an extremely positive internship experience for everyone and the Moroccan team looks forward to hosting them in Taroudannt this autumn!
