Over 200 women, including 15 from our own Womenâs Group, gathered at Centre Afaq this past week to celebrate the achievements of those who recently completed literacy classes in Arabic.
All who participated in the courses, offered by the womenâs literacy association NAMAA, received a certificate during the presentation ceremony. The joyous party continued as many do at Centre Afaq, with mouth-watering tea and cake, singing and dancing.
Four women from Centre Afaq had been attending classes since February. They were delighted to be recognised for their hard work and to share the moment with their fellow participants.
The exceptional accomplishments of these women have served as inspiration for others, as many other women from the Women’s Group now plan to join the class in September.
We look forward to celebrating their success in the coming year!
