This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to gain valuable community and events fundraising experience in an International development charity, supporting the day to day work of the Fundraising and Marketing Manager. The role offers the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of community and events fundraising across a wide range of community fundraising activity plus events such as our annual Gala Dinner and Atlas Mountain Trek.
The Community Fundraising & Events Volunteer will be a key member of a small team building relationships in the London community to support our exciting upcoming plans. We are particularly interested in candidates who are part of/have access to Moroccan and/or Muslim communities and could bring contacts as we try to build long-lasting relationships between the UK and Morocco. You will play an active role optimising voluntary fundraising in the London area and will have the opportunity to market and attend events and get some real experience with fundraising supporters.
