On Tuesday, 12th April 2011, we organised a fun-packed Easter Activity Trail at Holland Park in London to mark the first International Day for Street Children, a new campaign led by the Consortium for Street Children (CSC) to give a louder voice to street children across the world. Despite the April weather being fairly cold and windy, around 40 people came along to the event. We had a fantastic time with the children and their parents who had lots of fun doing a range of activities prepared by the MCT team – such as crafting Easter cards, hunting Easter eggs and Face painting. The event was a great opportunity for children and their parents in London to learn about the day and the lives of street children in Morocco.

Thanks to the generosity of our participants, the event raised more than £90 towards our work. Our Thank You goes to everyone who came along and contributed to the success of the event. For more information, please have a look at some pictures from the day on our Facebook page.
