One of the most exciting aspects of MCT’s work in Taroudannt is providing an enriching cross-cultural experience for not only all the members of Centre Afaq, but also our generous international volunteers.  These individuals, passionate about helping others, kindly donate their time to help us offer fun and educational activities for the children and families benefiting from MCT’s programmes.

We are delighted to welcome our newest volunteer, Jen, who will be joining our team for the months of July and August!  A university student specialising in psychology, Jen is no stranger to volunteering with children in sensitive situations.  She has helped young children in difficult family circumstances gain confidence and social skills, and has provided comforting care to nursery students with additional support needs.

Having had found these experiences incredibly rewarding, Jen was inspired to join MCT as a volunteer and hopes  the opportunity will help her as she works towards her own goals.  “I am hoping to go on to become a Clinical Psychologist helping children with their problems, trying to improve difficulties they may have in their life and also helping to change behaviour in a positive way.”

We are excited to have Jen with us this summer in Taroudannt and thank her for giving her time to such a wonderful cause!
