We have the pleasure of introducing you today to the other half of our current volunteer team at Centre Afaq.  Please give your warm welcome to Yusuf, a graduate of Queen Mary University.

Specialising in Human Geography, Yusuf has a particular interest in development, including both economic development and gender’s role in development.  Wanting to combine these subjects with his passion for Moroccan and Arabic culture in a volunteer role, Yusuf came across our Street Children Project and felt it was the perfect fit for him.

Yusuf has taken on nurturing roles in the past, such as aiding a blind classmate as an Educational Support Worker and teaching lower secondary school football.  His keen athletic abilities certainly come in handy at our Sports Centre!

We’re delighted to have Yusuf as part of the team, and to be able to benefit from both his academic expertise and passion for MCT’s projects.  We will enjoy the rest of his time with us in Taroudannt!
