Our in-country team, the international and local volunteers and all the staff at Centre Amane spent a day together in the Souss-Massa-Draa mountains near Taroudannt as part of a team bonding activity day on the 8th June. It marked the first such event of its kind with a team of over 30 members!
The team loaded into two mini-buses and left Taroudannt early Sunday morning, headed for a cosy riad up in the nearby mountains. After enjoying a typical Moroccan Berber breakfast, the group left the riad to go for a walk across the valley. Walking through a beautiful landscape, the team then went back to the riad for lunch and spent the afternoon there playing Moroccan music and dancing. The team was also able to enjoy the lovely weather by swimming and playing water games by the riadâs swimming pool, before going back to Taroudannt late in the afternoon.
The day spent together was a great occasion for everybody to enjoy each otherâs company in a different setting, surrounded by the mountains in a quiet and hospitable riad. The different activities were also a great opportunity for the team to bond outside of their working environment. The team very much enjoyed the team-bonding and was refreshed to get back to work together the next day as united as ever!
