11050317_10207350532309814_3033107291871764905_n-101x180Days have darkened over the hills of Taroudannt as we say goodbye to our in-country coordinator Sarah Sibley.

Sarah has been working tirelessly with MCT for the past five years but for the past year and a half has taken on the role of our in-country coordinator working with the team in Taroudannt and supporting the development of the projects.

She has played a vital role supporting the FAPE team whilst maintaining the strong link with the MCT in London. As well as working directly with the children we support on the street child project, she has also been focussed on supporting the creation of a child protection system in Taroudannt which will ensure support for many more children and their families.

The projects have progressed in leaps and bounds during Sarah’s time here in Morocco; from the development of some robust monitoring and evaluation systems, with the help of both the teams in London and Taroudannt, to the coordination of a regional conference highlighting the ID paper’s problem as well as advocating for the rights of children.
